On the obverse of the coin there is an inscription in a semicircle: the NATIONAL BANK of UKRAINE, under which is the small State Emblem of Ukraine, shows the Modern Sanatorium against the picturesque nature of the South Coast of Crimea and the inscription - 5 griven / 2007, as well as the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine

On the reverse of the coin, the chemist Félix de Serre (who in 1807 made the first analysis of the Saki mud) is depicted against the background of the lake, at the upper right is the well-room, under which the inscription - 1807 / YEAR / Saki Lake, and the coat of arms of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. At the top of the semicircle is the inscription: THE BEGINNING OF DEVELOPMENT resorts of Crimea.

Dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the Crimean scientific balneology, which marked the beginning of the development of resort riches of the Crimea. One of the main medical resources of the peninsula, which attracted the attention of both medical scientists and government officials, is Saka's therapeutic mud, the first steps to study the therapeutic properties of which were made at the beginning of the XIX century.
