On the obverse of the coin at the top there is a small State Emblem of Ukraine, the inscription UKRAINE, the year of minting of the coin 2017 and the denomination of 5 / griven; monuments of the unique Tripoli culture: in the center there is a gilded bone plate in the shape of the head of a bull-tour (Ternopil, 3700 - 3500 BC), on the right is a ritual vessel with a tour head. Finishing element: local gold plating, gold content of at least 0.0002 g.

The reverse of the coin shows the head of the tour (left) and a fragment of a rock painting depicting a tour and goats from the Stone Grave (Zaporizhia region) (right), in the grottoes and caves of which contain several thousand petroglyphs - rock paintings, dating from a wide historical range from the era Late Paleolithic to the Middle Ages. On the right in the background is a vertical inscription TUR.
