On the obverse of the coin on the left is the small State Emblem of Ukraine and the inscription UKRAINE (vertically) on a mirror background is a trident - the Sign of the Princely State of Vladimir the Great, consisting of different-sized stylized hearts symbolizing self-sacrifice and virtue; face value 5 griven (vertically to the right), below - the year of minting of the coin 2016 and the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.

The reverse of the coin shows a symbolic composition: in the center is the outline of a Ukrainian warrior with a symbolic yellow-blue heart (pad printing used), to which stylized palms with hearts stretched from all sides, symbolizing love, care, care, donation and kindness.
