It is dedicated to the All-Ukrainian library and the scientific center in the field of librarianship and bibliography, founded in 1866 as a public library. The National Parliamentary Library of Ukraine (since 1994) is one of the largest and oldest libraries in the country, the collections of which include book collections on literary criticism, linguistics, philosophy, psychology, history, ethics, music, cartographic, pictorial editions, etc. including old, rare and valuable editions.
