On the obverse of the coin at the top there is a small State Emblem of Ukraine, under which a stylized inscription - NATIONAL / BANK / UKRAINE, in the center - a stylized image of two birds, to the left and right of which the products of the hummus are glass household items, below the inscription: 5 / GREEN / 2012 and logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.

The reverse of the coin depicts a gutnik that blows out a glass. At the top, on the stylized background, the inscription GUTNIK is placed, on both sides of the central composition are decorative flowers.

It is dedicated to the manufacturing of glass, known since the times of Kievan Rus. For many centuries the development of the gutnitstvo reached a high artistic level. Especially original were the flasks, barrels, various bottles, mugs and different figured dishes in the form of roosters, birds, bears and the like.
