On the obverse of the coin at the top there is a small State Emblem of Ukraine, in a circle of inscriptions: NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE (above), FIVE GRIVA (below), to the right - the Mint logo of the National Bank of Ukraine, in the center - an industrial landscape in the background marmot (baikak), feather grass, ears of corn and sunflower, under the composition of the year of minting the coin - 2013.

On the reverse of the coin, the coat of arms of the region is depicted and there are inscriptions in a circle: Lugansk region (above), founded in 1938 (below).
