On the obverse of the coin at the top there is a small State Emblem of Ukraine and a semicircle inscription NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE; in the center is the cradle as a symbol of childhood and the immortality of the race, under it is the year of minting of the coin 2013 and in the bottom of the semicircle face value is FIVE CHRIVAN.

On the reverse of the coin there is a stylized image of the mother, who is holding the child in her arms, the inscription is a semicircle of motherhood. The image of the mother is full of warmth, tenderness, care and love.
