On the obverse of the coin at the top there is a small State Emblem of Ukraine, to the right of which there is an inscription UKRAINE, under which the year of coinage 2014 and denomination is FIVE GRYVEN, in the center is a composition of four swords symbolizing the military community of four nations: Polish, Lithuanian, Belarusian, Ukrainian. The place of the intersection of swords is crowned with a stylized wreath of oak leaves - a symbol of military glory and valor. On the right of the coin is the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.

Dedicated to the victorious battle of the army of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania with the army of the Russian state near Orsha (now - the territory of Belarus). The victory in the Battle of Orsha in 1514 stopped the offensive of the troops of the Grand Duke of Moscow Vasily III Ivanovich and was of great international importance. The army of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, led by Prince Konstantin Ostrozhsky, consisted of Polish, Lithuanian, Ukrainian and Belarusian troops.
