On the obverse of the coin, stylized three medals with yellow-blue ribbons (used pad printing) are placed on a mirror background; to the left of which on a matte background is the small State Emblem of Ukraine, under which are the inscriptions: UKRAINE / 2 GRIVNI, to the right is the year of minting of the coin 2018, logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.

The reverse of the coin depicts a Paralympic player during a competition, the logo of the National Paralympic Committee of Ukraine on the left on a matte background; at the top of the semicircle of the inscription: XII WINTER PARALYMPIC GAMES 2018 / COLLEGE OF UKRAINE / 22 MEDALS.

Dedicated to the 2018 Paralympic Winter Games, which were held in the South Korean city of Phonchang from 09 to 18 March. The national team of Ukraine at this competition was represented by 33 athletes who won 22 awards: seven gold, seven silver and eight bronze and finished sixth in the overall ranking of games and fourth in the total number of medals.
