On the obverse of the coin, a small State Emblem of Ukraine is placed on a mirror background, under which is the inscription - NATIONAL / BANK OF UKRAINE, symbols of the athlete’s route (right), a stylized image of a compass (left), under which the denomination is 2 hryvnia, below is the year of coinage - 2007, the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine is also posted.

On the reverse of the coin there is an athlete running with a map in his hand, and the inscription SPORTS (horizontal) ORIENTATION (vertically) is placed.
