On the obverse of the coin at the top there is a small State Emblem of Ukraine and a semicircle inscription NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE, at the bottom of the coin minting year, denomination - 2011 / TWO hryvnia, the Mint logo of the National Bank of Ukraine; in the center is the State Flag of Ukraine (the element of decoration is enamel) framed by a stylized viburnum wreath.

The reverse of the coin on a matte background shows the emblem of the Commonwealth of Independent States, under which the inscription 20 / YEARS is placed, and at the top of the semicircle is the COMMONWEALTH of INDEPENDENT STATES.
