On the obverse of the coin in the center of the bead circle there is an image of the small State Emblem of Ukraine in the frame of the branches of viburnum. Above the coat of arms is the date 1998, the year of coinage. In a circle of inscription: at the top of UKRAINE, at the bottom in two lines 2 griven. The inscriptions are separated from each other by an ornament.

On the reverse of the coin on the background of sheets of paper, translated from the left by branches of viburnum, depicts a portrait of Vladimir Sausury. Inscriptions: on the left in a circle VLADIMIR SOSYUR, on the right in two lines the date 1898-1965 is the year of birth and death, below in two lines the facsimile of the famous poem of the poet LOVE UKRAINE
