On the obverse of the coin at the top there is a small State Emblem of Ukraine and a semicircular inscription NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE, a depiction of a view of the Hall of Columns to them Lysenko from the stage on which the piano stands; on the right, the year of coinage 2013 and the Mint logo, below - the nominal value of 2 hryvnia.

The reverse of the coin shows the building of the former Merchant Assembly (1882) on a mirror background, in which the National Philharmonic of Ukraine has been located since 1944, under which is the emblem and the inscription: NATIONAL / PHARMHARMONIC / UKRAINE / 150 years.
