On the obverse at the top there is a small state emblem of Ukraine and the inscription: “UKRAINE, 10 griven, 2016 ″. Also on the coin is a stylized depiction of Kiev hills, a chapel, and in the foreground, a cave with a monk who is in a prayer position on his knees.

On the reverse there is an iconographic image of Theodosius of Pechersk, which holds a scroll with the inscriptions: “Lord, in the Name of the Most Holy Theotokos, Your Mother, the Temple was built” against the background of a stylized temple, under which there is an inscription: “Theodosius of the XI century”.
