On the obverse of the coins in the frame of the plant ornament of the Eucharist cathedral mosaic there is an image of the small State Emblem of Ukraine and inscriptions in four lines UKRAINE, 10 griven, 1998 and the designation and sample of the precious metal Ag 925 and weight in purity 31.1.

On the reverse of the coins, against the background of the image of the St. Michael's Golden-domed Cathedral, are the silhouettes of the twelve apostles of the symbolic scene of the Eucharist communion mosaic. The coin has a circular inscription of the St. Michael the Golden-domed Cathedral XII ST.
