Dedicated to an outstanding sculptor of the mid-XVII century, who worked with wood and stone, the representative of the late Baroque and Rococo, the founder of the Lviv school of sculptors John George Pinzel. Pinzel's figure is mysterious - almost nothing is known about his personality, forgotten for two hundred years. Only in recent decades, the heritage of the master, whom modern European art critics call Slavic Michelangelo, has attracted great attention of specialists and amateurs, his works in 2011 will be exhibited in the Louvre.
