On the obverse, the coins include: the Patriarchal Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ (n. Kiev) on a mirror background of stylized cruciform rays; below - the small State Emblem of Ukraine, to the right of which there are inscriptions: UKRAINE / 2 UAH / 2018; Logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (on a mirror background, to the left of the cathedral).
On the reverse of the coin there is a portrait of Lubomir Guzar, to his left the years of his life 1933/2017 and in a circle are inscriptions: PATRIARCH LYUBOMIR GUZAR (above), MY DREAM IS BEING A MAN (below).
Devoted to one of the spiritual leaders of our people - Patriarch Lyubomir Guzar, who is called the conscience of the nation. Lyubomir Guzar was born in Lviv, but in 1944 his family was forced to emigrate abroad. He studied and worked in Austria, USA, Italy, and returned to his homeland after the proclamation of independence of Ukraine. In 2001 he headed the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. Thanks to Lubomir Guzar, it was decided to transfer the throne to Kiev and build the Patriarchal Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ. In 2011, Lubomir Husar left the post of the Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, but until the end of his life he was actively engaged in social activities.
