On the reverse of the coin on the mirror background there is a color image of the mark of 50 steps (used pad printing) and inscriptions: FIRST MAILS OF THE UKRAINIAN PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC (in a circle), 100 YEARS (bottom).

It is dedicated to the steps - to the rosymnnym token of the Ukrainian People's Republic, which is equal to 1/100 of the hryvnia and was issued in the form of stamps of 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 steps. Steps previously thought only as postage stamps. But during the time of the Central Rada, there was a sharp shortage of small payment signs in Ukraine, the need for which grew from month to month. On the basis of the law of the Central Rada of April 18, 1918, shagi marks were issued that were used instead of coins that disappeared from circulation.
