On the obverse of the coin at the top there is a small State Emblem of Ukraine, under which the inscription NATIONAL BANK / UKRAINE; in the center, surrounded by a stylized floral ornament - face value 5 / griven; at the bottom year - 2017, as well as the designation of the metal, its samples - Ag 925, mass in purity - 15.55 and the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.

On the reverse of the coin, surrounded by a stylized vegetative ornament, is depicted in the popular print style of a rooster, whose eyes are decorated with yellow cubic zirconium oxide. Above this composition and below it are the figure figures of all 12 characters of the eastern calendar.
