The obverse of the coin depicts a composition of a church cup and Ukrainian female ornaments that are kept by pigeons, above it is the small State Emblem of Ukraine; under the composition are the inscriptions: NATIONAL BANK / UKRAINE / 5 / HRIVEN / 2006; left and right are stylized ice branches with ice, as well as the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.

On the reverse of the coins a multi-figured composition is depicted - a prayer service is held above the ice-hole in the shape of a cross, the inscription is placed in a semicircle on the left:
