On the obverse of the coin at the top there is a small State Emblem of Ukraine, in a circle of inscriptions: NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE (above), FIVE GRIVEN (below), to the right - the Mint logo of the National Bank of Ukraine; in the center there is a stylized composition: Marian Spiritual Center `Zarvanitsya`, the year of coinage - 2014, under which is depicted the towers of Chervonogorodsky Palace-Palace, vitininka and a marsh owl on the background of a fragment of the carpet.

On the reverse of the coin, the coat of arms of the region is depicted, in a circle there are inscriptions: the Ternopil region (above), founded in 1939 (below).

It is dedicated to the region with unique and inimitable landscapes, mountainous reliefs, rivers, waterfalls, caves. The pearl of the reserve fund of the region is the National Nature Park `Kremenetskie Gori` and the Medobori Preserve. The Ternopil region occupies the western part of the Podolsk Upland and is located at the crossroads of important transport routes from Eastern Europe to Central and Western Europe, which contributes to the development of entrepreneurial activity.
