The obverse of the coin depicts the small State Emblem of Ukraine and the inscription in a circle: the NATIONAL BANK of UKRAINE (above), Yeletsky Holy Assumption Monastery (below), the main building of the monastery is the Assumption Cathedral, against which the inscription of the 11th - 18th centuries is below. To the left of the cathedral the face value is 10 / UAH, to the right the year of coinage is 2012.
The reverse of the coin stylized depicts the icon of the Mother of God on fir according to a legend about the emergence of the monastery and at the top in a semicircle on the ribbon the inscription - THE ELEMENTARY HOLY GEDDOMAN OF ELETSKY, below - the stylized ornament.
