On the obverse of the coins there is an image of the small State Emblem of Ukraine against the background of a steppe landscape consisting of certain species of local flora and fauna. The following inscriptions are placed above the emblem: UKRAINE and 1998. Under the image on a silver coin are indicated: face value - 10 UAH (in two lines), weight - 31.1 (left), designation and sample of metal - Ag 925 (right).

On the reverse of the coins there is a composition consisting of an image of a steppe stone woman and a dynamic group of animals acclimatized in the reserve. Above the image there is an inscription in a circle: Askania-Nova. In the lower part of the composition there is an image of the emblem of the Falz-Fein genus and the inscription in a circle for 100 years.
