The obverse of the coin in the center shows the small State Emblem of Ukraine, under it is the year of minting of the coin - 2006, in a circle are placed the inscriptions: NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE (above), TWO hryvnias (below) and the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.

On the reverse of the coin, there is a portrait of Prokopovich, to the left of which is the inscription VYACHESLAV / PROKOPOVICH vertically, to the right - the years of life 1881/1942.

Dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the birth of Vyacheslav Prokopovich - Ukrainian socio-political and statesman, teacher, historian and publicist. Vyacheslav Konstantinovich Prokopovich is one of the founders of the Ukrainian Central Rada. In January - April 1918 - Minister of Public Education of the UPR, in 1920 he was appointed Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the UPR. In emigration, V. Prokopovich held key posts in the UNR government in exile.
