Dedicated to the historic area, filled with glorious Cossack traditions, in the center of which is located one of its color - Holy Trinity Motroninsky monastery. Kholodny Yar is a relic forest (Kamensky district of the Cherkassy region), where among the natural monuments of the most famous is a thousand-year oak, named after Maxim Zaliznyak. This area has preserved many archaeological monuments from different eras. It was from Kholodny Yar in the spring of 1768 that the social and national liberation movement of 1768-1769 began in Right-Bank Ukraine, Kolya region. In the 1840s, Taras Shevchenko visited here, recalling Kholodny Yar in the poems “Haidamaki” and “Kholodny Yar”. In 1919-1922, rebels of the Kholodnoyarsk Republic acted under the flag of the Ukrainian People's Republic.
