On the obverse of the coin at the top there is a small State Emblem of Ukraine, a semicircle inscription NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE, under which to the left is the year of minting of the coin - 2013, to the right - the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine; in the center - a stylized image of the decoration of the city - the fountain and its mirror image, below - 5 / HRIVEN.

On the reverse of the coin is placed: at the top is the coat of arms of Vinnitsa, under which against the background of the scroll is depicted a stylized composition: an ink-pot with a feather, architectural constructions of the city and the inscription VINNYTSIA, below - the first written mention / 650 / YEARS.
