Dedicated to one of the oldest zoos in Europe, which served cultural and educational functions, and is an architectural landmark of Kharkov. The zoo is located in the city center, occupying an area of ​​22 hectares and contains about 400 species of fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals. Among them are 145 rare and endangered species listed in the international red book and the red book of Ukraine.
