On the obverse of the coin there is a small State Emblem of Ukraine, a semicircle inscription NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE (above), a stylized image of a temple icon of the sixteenth century. `Descent of the Holy Spirit on the apostolite`, to the right and to the left of which are the candlesticks, below is the year of minting of the 2009 coin and the denomination of the coin is TEN CHRISTMAS (in a semicircle).
The reverse of the coin depicts the church and the inscriptions: CHURCH / HOLY / SPIRIT / XVI / Art. (Above), ROGATIN (in a semicircle below).

Dedicated to an outstanding example of the ancient types of Ukrainian wooden temples - the Church of the Holy Spirit in Rogatin (1598).
