On the obverse of the coin, the small State Emblem of Ukraine is placed at the top, the semicircle inscription is the NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE, the nominal value is 10 griven, the Samson fountain, which is decorated with octagonal stars, often used by Ivan Grigorovich-Barsky in architectural decoration baroque); on the right is the year of coinage 2011.
The reverse of the coin depicts the coat of arms of the family Grigorovich-Barsky, a stylized family tree, in the cartouches of which the drawing of the traveler Vasily Grigorovich-Barsky (left), on which he depicted himself, and the Nikolai Naberezhny church in Kiev (right), designed by architect Ivan Grigorovich -Barsky; in the inscription circle: ROD Grigorovich-Barsky (above), VASILY 1701 - 1747 (left), IVAN 1713 - 1785 (right), the motto of the kind LABOR MY POWER (below).
