On the obverse of the coin in the center of a circle formed from dots there is an image of a small State Emblem of Ukraine framed in branches of viburnum. Above the emblem is the date of one thousand nine hundred ninety-six - the year of minting of the coin. In a circle of inscription coins: at the top of the NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE, 1,000,000 RUBLES. Under the branches of viburnum there is a designation and test of the precious metal Ag 925 and its weight in purity is 15.55.
