On the obverse of the coin its denomination is indicated and the parliament building is depicted.

On the reverse of the coin, vertically divided in half into a matte and mirror surface, a stylized open book is placed in the center and a sprig of viburnum above it. On the right on the mirror background are the inscriptions: “20 years old” and “THE CONSTITUTION OF UKRAINE”. On the left, on a matted background, is the indicated text of the first articles of the Constitution: Article 1. Ukraine is a sovereign and independent, democratic, social, legal state. Article 2. The sovereignty of Ukraine extends over its entire territory. Ukraine is a unitary state. The territory of Ukraine within the existing border is integral and inviolable. Article 3. A person, his life and health, honor and dignity, integrity and security are recognized in Ukraine as the highest social value.
