On the obverse of the coin, surrounded by a stylized floral ornament are placed the inscriptions: NATIONAL BANK / UKRAINE / 5 / UAH; at the top is the small State Emblem of Ukraine, at the bottom is the year of minting of the coin 2009, as well as the designation of the metal, its samples are Ag 925, the mass in purity is 15.55 and the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.

On the reverse of the coin, surrounded by a stylized vegetative ornament, is depicted in the popular print style of a bull (his eyes are decorated with 2 rubies with a mass of 0.01 carats each). Above this composition and below it are the figure figures of all 12 characters of the eastern calendar.
