A small State Emblem of Ukraine and inscriptions in four lines are placed on the obverse of the coins in the frame of a wreath formed from images of certain types of flora and fauna: on a silver coin - UKRAINE, 10 griven, 2004, and the designation of the metal and its sample - Ag 925, mass clean - 31.1, in addition - the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.

On the reverse of the coins there are two azovki with air bubbles, at the bottom - a bush of algae, and circular inscriptions are placed: Azovka (on the right) and PHOECENA PHOECENA RELICTA ABEL (on the left).
