On the obverse of the coin there is a small State Emblem of Ukraine, a semicircle inscription NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE (above), denomination, the year of coinage - 10 / UAH / 2010 (below) and depicts the miraculous icon of the Zarvanitskaya Mother of God, the iconostases on the left and right sides.

On the reverse of the coin are depicted: the majestic architectural complex dominated by the Cathedral of Our Lady of Zarvanitsa and the bell tower, the inscriptions: Mariysky Spiritual Center (semicircle at the top) and p. ZAVRANITSA / Ternopil region (At the bottom).

It is dedicated to one of the ancient places of pilgrimage - the Mari spiritual center - Zarvanitsa (Ternopil region), the creation of which is associated with the appearance of the miraculous icon of the Mother of God according to the legend.
