The obverse of the coin depicts a horseman - Governor Konstantin Syroslavovich - the founder of the city, to the right and left of which - a stylized Pokut ornament, above - the small National Emblem of Ukraine and the inscription NATIONAL / BANK OF UKRAINE, below - 5 griven / 2008, logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine ( on right).

On the reverse of the coin there is a stylized composition, on the left - the city hall, the city coat of arms and on the right - an architectural fragment of the town hall with an eagle sculpture, above which is the inscription - SNYATIN, and below - 850 / YEARS.
