On the obverse there are coins: at the top is the small State Emblem of Ukraine and the inscription UKRAINE; in the center on a matte background is the logo of the V. Dokuchaev Kharkiv National Agrarian University, to the left of which is a portrait of the first director of the Marimont Institute of Land Management Benjamin Flyat and the names of the cities in which the university operated; below: face value is TWO GRIVNES, year of embossing 2016 and the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (left).
On the reverse of the coin there is a portrait of V. V. Dokuchaev, a depiction of a modern university building and semicircular inscriptions: Kharkiv National Agrarian University (semicircle at the top), NAMED AFTER V. V. Dokuchaev (above the building), 200 years (bottom)
Dedicated to Kharkiv National Agrarian University - one of the oldest educational institutions of the agrarian profile, founded in 1816 as the Marimontsk Institute of Land Management. Today it is a modern center of agrarian science in Ukraine, which made a significant contribution to the development of national education and science and has international recognition.
