The small State Emblem of Ukraine, semicircular inscription NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE is placed on the obverse of the coin, in the center of the coin there is a fragment of the facade of the synagogue building on the right and left of which is a stylized ornament, the year of coinage 2012 Griven and the Mint logo of the National Bank of Ukraine (left).
On the reverse of the coin, a synagogue is depicted on the background of the decorative-conditional plan of the building, and the inscriptions of the SYNAGOGUE are located at the top. ZHOVKVA.
