On the obverse of the coin at the top there is a small State Emblem of Ukraine, to the right of which there is an inscription UKRAINE, under which the year of coinage 2014 and denomination is FIVE GRYVEN, in the center is a composition of four swords symbolizing the military community of four nations: Polish, Lithuanian, Belarusian, Ukrainian. The place of the intersection of swords is crowned with a stylized wreath of oak leaves - a symbol of military glory and valor. On the right of the coin is the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.

The reverse of the coin depicts a symbolic composition of the battle, based on stylized fragments of the canvas “Battle of Orsha”, created by an unknown participant in the battle, on the right shows Prince Konstantin Ostrogsky and placed the stylized inscriptions: BATTLE / UND / Orsha (upper left), 500 / YEARS bottom right).
