The reverse of the coin depicts a powerful Medzhibіzku fortress (view from a bird's-eye view), at the top of the inscription: MEDJIBOZK FORTRESS XII-XVI.

A commemorative coin dedicated to one of the oldest fortifications, erected in a picturesque corner of the Khmelnytsky region, on a promontory formed by the Southern Bug and Buzhok rivers - the Medzhybozhsk castle-fortress. For centuries, the fortress changed its owners and features, however, it remained a legendary landmark.
