The obverse of the coin on the left shows a stylized fragment of a snowflake with the inscription UKRAINE and the small State Emblem of Ukraine in a semicircle; on the lower right, on the background of the mirror, there are inscriptions: on a silver coin - 10 UAH, 2001, the designation of the metal and its samples Ag 925, weight in purity - 31.1 and the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.
On the reverse of the coin there is a stylized image of a hockey player - on the left on a mirror background and snowflakes - on the right, on a relief background of which there are inscriptions in three lines: XI WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES, Salt Lake City, 2002.
