Dedicated to the Kobzar Choir - Ukrainian musical professional group, created in 1918 under the direction of bandurist Vasyl Yemts. The National Honored Bandurists of Ukraine named after GI Maiboroda and the Ukrainian Bandurists Band named after Sh. Taras Shevchenko (has a branch in Detroit, USA). Kobzar art is striking in its striving for original self-sufficiency and the spirit of rebellion. The activities of the groups popularize the cultural heritage of Ukraine, for which, in due time, both teams became laureates of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine.
