The design rethinks the Victory Medal, which was awarded to all those who served in the Armed Forces during World War II. The figure of Liberation stands with open arms, holding two halves of a broken sword in his hands, which symbolizes the end of the war. The inscriptions on the obverse: "LIBERTY", "IN GOD WE TRUST", "WORLD WAR II", "2024", "WE ANSWERED THE CALL". The initials of the authors of the obverse are also indicated here.

The reverse depicts a World War II Memorial depicted from the point of view of a man climbing a ramp leading to one of the towers. The design is completed by the inscriptions: "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and "HALF DOLLAR". The mint mark and the initials of the authors of the reverse are also indicated here.
