The reverse of the coin depicts I. Poddubny on a mirrored background, to the right of which - the years of his life 1871/1949 and the inscription Ivan Poddubny (in a semicircle to the right).

Dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of the famous sportsman, six-time world champion in Greco-Roman wrestling Ivan Maksimovich Poddubny. "Champion of Champions", "King of Champions", as the then European press wrote about the wrestler, became famous for his heroic strength, courage, dexterity, fortitude. For 40 years, Poddubny has not lost a single championship and had defeats only in individual fights. A descendant of a Cossack family, he received the legendary fame of an athlete, his name became a symbol of the invincible strength of the people. To this day in Ukraine people of great physical strength are compared with Poddubny.
