On the obverse of the coin in the frame of a wreath, formed from images of certain species of flora and fauna, is placed the small State Emblem of Ukraine and the inscription: UKRAINE / 2 / HRIVNY / 2019-logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.

The reverse of the coin depicts a white-tailed eagle in flight (color image, used pad printing) and semicircular inscriptions: ORLAN-WHITE (bottom), HALIAEETUS ALBICILLA (right).
