Obverse
on the disk in the center is the denomination of the coin "10 RUBLES", inside the number "0" are hidden, visible alternately when changing the angle of view of the image of the number "10" and the inscription "RUB", at the bottom is the trademark of the mint; on the ring at the top is the inscription "BANK OF RUSSIA", at the bottom is the year "2024", on the left and on the right are images of laurel and oak branches, respectively, the elements of which are transferred to the disk.
Reverse
relief image of the coat of arms of the Smolensk region; on the ring around the circumference there are relief inscriptions separated by dots: in the upper part – "RUSSIAN FEDERATION", in the lower part – "SMOLENSK REGION".

Description
The Smolensk region is located in the central part of the Eastern European (Russian) plain. It borders the Republic of Belarus to the west. The administrative, industrial and cultural center of the region is the city of Smolensk, one of the oldest cities in Russia (known since the middle of the 9th century). Industry (production of finished metal products, chemicals and products, rubber and plastic products) is one of the main sectors of the region's economy. Khanty–Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra is the main oil and gas producing region of Russia and one of the largest oil-producing regions in the world. It belongs to the donor regions of Russia and occupies a leading position in the subjects of the Russian Federation in terms of oil and gas production, industrial production, and electricity production. At the moment, Ugra has produced more than 10 billion tons of oil since the beginning of the development of the oil and gas province of Western Siberia. In terms of proven hydrocarbon reserves, production capabilities, the state of the production infrastructure and the profitability of development, the autonomous Okrug remains the main strategic resource base of Russia's hydrocarbon raw materials for the coming decades.
