The obverse of the coin in the center shows a wheel (hologram), around which there is a fiery spiral, symbolizing the galaxy. Above is a small State Emblem of Ukraine, under which is the inscription NATIONAL / BANK / UKRAINE, below is the nominal value of 20 griven and the year of minting of the coin 2007, as well as the designation of the metal, its sample is Ag 925, the mass in purity is 62.2 and the Mint logo National Bank of Ukraine.

The reverse of the coin on the background of the night landscape shows a genre scene: Chumatsky carts, a chumak with a pipe and at the bottom a semicircle placed the inscription of the Milky Way.
