On the obverse, coins are placed: at the top - the small State Emblem of Ukraine, to the right of which there is the inscription UKRAINE; in the center is the composition: on the background of the stylized scheme is the figure 100, the zeros of which are depicted in the form of rhombuses, inside one of them is a satellite and the inscription DNU; under the inscription 100 - the book is a symbol of knowledge, the nominal value is TWO GRIVNY, to the right of the mirror background-year of coinage 2018, the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.

On the reverse of the coin, one of the buildings of the university is placed on a mirror background, on the right is the year 1918/2018, on the four sides of the rhombus on the mirror background of the inscription: DNEPROV NATIONAL UNIVERSITY Olesya Gonchar.
