The obverse of the coin depicts a stylized fragment of the ornamental headband of the first page of the Ostrog Bible, against which the small State Emblem of Ukraine is at the top, under the headband there are inscriptions: NATIONAL / BANK OF UKRAINE, below face value - 100 UAH / year of minting of the coin - 2007, metal designation - Au 900, clean mass - 31.1 and the Mint logo of the National Bank of Ukraine.
The reverse of the coin depicts stylized portraits of Ivan Fyodorov and Konstantin Ostrozhsky, who hold the book unfolded, and placed stylized inscriptions: OSTROZHSKAYA Bible (above) and 1581 (bottom).
It is dedicated to the outstanding memo of printing - the Ostrog Bible (1581) - the first full printed edition of the Bible in Church Slavonic. The initiator and patron of the creation of the Ostrog Bible was Prince Konstantin Ostrozhsky, who, in order to realize his plan, invited the book printer Ivan Fedorov to Ostrog.
