The fan-shaped relief surface of the obverse field symbolically reproduces the dulcimer melody in the form of a stylized baroque ornament. There are inscriptions stylized as a Cossack font, NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE (top), 2006/5 / HRIVEN (bottom) and the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.
On the reverse of the coin there is a cymbal, in a circle - a baroque ornament and the inscription Tsymbal stylized as a Cossack font.
