On the obverse of the coins in the frame of a wreath, formed from images of certain types of flora and fauna, there is a small State Emblem of Ukraine and inscriptions in four lines: UKRAINE, 2, hryvnia, 2001 and the Mint logo of the National Bank of Ukraine.
On the reverse of the coins there is a pine branch with a cone and circular inscriptions: at the top - LARGE POLISH, at the bottom - LARIX POLONICA RACIB.
It is dedicated to the endangered species of coniferous trees with valuable larch wood from the Polish Larix polonica Racib (pine family - Pinaceae), common in the Ukrainian Carpathians and listed in the Red Book of Ukraine. Polish larch is grown in forests, parks and botanical gardens, in particular in the Kedrinsky and Skit Manyavsky reserves. Artist: Demyanenko Vladimir Sculptor: Demyanenko Vladimir
